Excellent second book in the trilogy. I am hooked and can't wait for the final book.The story is first class and has plenty of action as well as good character development. But the best thing about this series is the way it makes you examine your beliefs about religion and spirituality. I am not sure if the author is an atheist, religious or agnostic and the book is written so that any of these beliefs will be able to project their belief structure into the story. Very well designed and it is obvious that certain philosophical concepts have been explored in the writing.
